Why I Love What I Do
I love what I do because I get to be part of moments people will remember for the rest of their lives. For me, being a DJ is about much more than playing music. It’s about reading the room, bringing people together, creating energy, and turning a special moment into an unforgettable experience. After more than 18 years as a DJ and thousands of weddings and events, I still get excited seeing a dance floor come alive or watching a couple realize that their celebration is everything they hoped it would be. What I love most is knowing that I can use something I’m passionate about to serve others. Every event gives me an opportunity to create memories, connect with people, and leave a positive impact. That’s what keeps me motivated and reminds me why I fell in love with this in the first place.
Outside the Booth
Outside of Weddings Unlimited, I really enjoy spending time with my family and making the most of my free time. I’m also passionate about music, so even when I’m not working an event, I’m usually discovering new music, working on my craft, or finding ways to grow as a DJ and entrepreneur. I’m big on personal and professional growth as well. I enjoy learning about business, marketing (current Graduate Student - Digital Marketing), leadership, and finding new ways to improve myself and the people around me. I also believe strongly in giving back to my community and helping others whenever I have the opportunity. When I actually get a chance to slow down, I enjoy traveling, experiencing new places, good food, and simply spending quality time with the people who matter most to me.
Fun Facts
One fun fact about me is that DJing has given me the opportunity to work with some pretty incredible people over the years. Most recently, I’ve had the opportunity to DJ for well-known artists like Big Tuck and the Ying Yang Twins, along with several other recognized artists and entertainers. It’s always a cool experience because I started DJing simply because I loved music, and I never imagined it would eventually put me in rooms and on stages with artists whose music I’ve played throughout my career.
