From the Lazo to La Hora LocaLatino and Mexican wedding photography, videography and DJ across Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Phoenix

The lazo goes on after the vows and comes off before you walk out. The mariachi walks in when the DJ steps back. The dance floor does not empty until the lights come up. We staff for that night.

Lazo, Arras, Padrinos & La Hora Loca

Your Ceremony, Ritual by RitualWe already know the order

A Latino wedding has a ceremony built around specific small objects and a reception that refuses to slow down. The lazo goes on after the vows and comes off before the recessional. The arras are handed over in thirteen coins. La hora loca lands late and changes the room in about a minute. Weddings Unlimited staffs Latino and Mexican weddings around those moments, and the DJ set is built from your family's list rather than a generic Latin playlist.

01

Los Padrinos y Madrinas

Your sponsors are part of the ceremony, not just names in a program. Whoever carries the lazo, the arras, the Bible and the rosary is on our list before the day, so we know who is stepping forward next and the camera is already on them.

02

El Lazo

The cord or rosary goes over both of you after the vows and comes off before you walk out. It is a two person job and it happens fast. We shoot it from the front so both of your faces are in it, not the back of a padrino's head.

03

Las Arras

Thirteen coins, passed hand to hand. It is a small, quiet, close up moment in the middle of a big ceremony, and it is one of the best detail shots of the day if somebody is close enough to actually get it.

04

The Church and the Mass

A full Catholic wedding Mass runs about an hour and most parishes have rules about where a photographer may stand. We ask your church before the day rather than during it, so nobody is being waved off the altar steps in the middle of your vows.

05

Mariachi and Banda

Live music changes the room. Our DJ works with your mariachi or banda instead of talking over them, handles the handoff cleanly, and knows the set after live music has to land harder rather than softer.

06

El Baile del Billete

The money dance, the veil dance, la vibora de la mar, whichever your family does. These are long, loud and full of people. We shoot wide for the room and close for the faces, and the DJ knows how to hold the energy all the way through.

07

La Hora Loca

Masks, hats, inflatables, sometimes stilt walkers, and a room that flips in sixty seconds. If it is happening, tell us when, and the cameras are out and the lights are set before it starts instead of after.

08

The Late Night

Churros, tacos, a second wind at midnight and a dance floor that refuses to quit. We do not charge by the hour, so the end of your night gets photographed the same as the beginning.

Se Habla Espanol

Plenty of our team speak Spanish, and we can usually put a Spanish speaking photographer, DJ or coordinator on your date. Ask when you inquire and we will tell you honestly who is available for that specific day rather than promising first and sorting it out later.

Mexican, Colombian, Salvadoran, Puerto Rican

The lazo and the arras show up across a lot of these traditions, and so do the differences. Cumbia, banda, bachata, merengue and reggaeton are not one playlist. Tell us where your families are from and what your parents will actually get up for, and that is what gets built.

Two Locations, One Plan

A church ceremony on one side of town and a reception on the other, or a civil ceremony one day and the church the next. If your celebration spans two venues or two days, say so on the form and we quote it as one plan instead of two bookings.

The Ceremony

Catholic Mass · Padrinos, the lazo and the full wedding party

An hour inside a church, a wedding party big enough to fill the altar steps, and a set of rituals that each last about ninety seconds. The whole job is knowing what is coming next and already being in position for it.

Why Couples Book Us

Built for a Night That Ends at One in the MorningNo clock, no template

Weddings Unlimited is family owned, 16 years in, 8,000+ weddings and 90+ people on staff. Here is what that actually buys you.

01

Unlimited Time, Because It Runs Late

Church at two, reception at six, dance floor at one in the morning. We do not bill by the hour and we do not charge overtime. The last hour of a Latino wedding is usually the best one, and we are still shooting it.

02

A DJ Who Reads Your Room

Cumbia for your tias, banda for your dad, reggaeton for your friends, and the timing to know which goes when. Your DJ works from your list, and the MC work is included in the $1,485.

03

Spanish Speaking Crew When You Need It

Ask for it on the form. With more than 90 people on staff we can usually put a Spanish speaking photographer, DJ or coordinator on your date, and we tell you honestly before you book rather than after.

04

You Pick Your Own Team

We recommend and you choose, you always have creative control. Meet the actual photographer and the actual DJ before you sign, not a salesperson who hands you off to whoever is free.

Transparent pricing, no hidden fees, and every service gets cheaper when you put two together. Couples regularly save $1,000 to $3,000 bundling instead of booking four separate vendors.

You Have Full Control

Choose Your Own Latino Wedding TeamWe recommend, you choose

Most companies send whoever's free. We don't. You see real people, their real work, and you decide who shoots your wedding, who films it, who runs the dance floor and who keeps the day on schedule. They're our staff, and many have been here for years.

  1. 1

    Tell us your vibe

Your style, your music, your ritual order, your must haves, all in our planning app before anyone is assigned.

  2. 2

    We recommend matches

We line up the photographers, filmmakers, DJs and coordinators who fit your date, your style and your crowd.

  3. 3

    You make the choice

Look at their work, meet them, and pick. We recommend and you choose, you always have creative control.

  4. 4

    Your team shows up, unlimited

The people you picked are the people who arrive, and they stay from first look to last dance with no hourly meter.

No Fine Print. No Overtime.

Asked and Answered

Latino Wedding Questions, AnsweredNo runaround

Do you photograph Latino and Mexican weddings?

Yes. Weddings Unlimited photographs, films, DJs and coordinates Latino and Mexican weddings across Texas and Arizona, including the padrinos, the lazo, the arras, the money dance and la hora loca. We take your order of service before the day so the crew knows what is coming next.

How much does a Latin wedding photographer cost in Texas?

Wedding photography with Weddings Unlimited is $1,950 for unlimited time, and that is the same price for a Latino wedding as for any other. Videography is $1,950, a DJ and MC is $1,485, a photo booth is $1,000 and day of coordination is $1,500. Photography and videography together are $2,975, and photography, videography and DJ together in the Grand Celebration Bundle are $3,875.

Do you have a Spanish speaking photographer or DJ?

Often, yes. Plenty of our team speak Spanish and we can usually put a Spanish speaking photographer, DJ or coordinator on your date. Ask when you inquire and we will tell you honestly who is available for that specific day rather than promising and sorting it out afterwards.

Do you know what the lazo and the arras are?

Yes. The lazo is the cord or rosary placed over both of you after the vows and removed before the recessional, and the arras are the thirteen coins passed between you. Both are short and both need a photographer already in position, so they are on our shot list with the names of the padrinos carrying them.

Can your DJ play cumbia, banda and reggaeton?

Yes, and the point is the order rather than the list. Your DJ builds the night from your own must play list, reads which generation is on the floor, and moves between cumbia, banda, bachata, merengue and reggaeton based on the room instead of a fixed playlist. The MC work is included.

Can you work with our mariachi or banda?

Yes. Our DJ coordinates the handoff with your live musicians ahead of time, gives them the sound they need, and plans what comes straight after so the energy does not drop when the band stops. Live music and a DJ in the same night is normal for us.

What if our reception goes past midnight?

That is fine and it does not cost extra. Photography, videography, DJ and coordination are all unlimited time with no overtime charge, so the last hour of your night is covered exactly like the first.

Can you photograph a Catholic wedding Mass?

Yes. A full nuptial Mass runs about an hour and most parishes set their own rules about flash, where photographers may stand and whether anyone may be near the altar. We contact your church before the wedding day and work the way they ask.

Do you cover la hora loca?

Yes. Tell us roughly when it is happening and we make sure cameras are out and lighting is set before the masks and the inflatables come out rather than scrambling afterwards. If you want cold sparks, CO2 or other effects alongside it, Magic Moments starts at $395.

Our church and our reception are in two different cities. Is that a problem?

No. Two locations in one day is a normal booking and there is no travel fee inside our markets. Tell us both venues on the form and your coordinator builds the drive, the portraits and the cocktail hour into one timeline.

Do you cover Latino weddings in Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Phoenix?

Yes. Weddings Unlimited serves Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and Phoenix, plus Scottsdale, Sedona and Flagstaff in Arizona. Our local team is in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth, Phoenix and San Antonio, and pricing is the same in every market with no travel fee.
