What Confetti Falls actually is

Confetti falls are exactly what they sound like: confetti released above the dance floor on a cue. We use eco friendly confetti, which matters both for the venue and for the cleanup crew. The whole thing happens in a few seconds and the photographs are some of the loudest looking frames of the night.

When to use it

A wedding party entrance, the moment the dance floor first fills, or the very last song. Confetti is a peak effect: it needs a crowd underneath it to land on. Couples often pair it with CO2 so the same beat gets a hit of white fog and a shower of confetti at once.

Will your venue allow it?

This is the one effect where the answer is genuinely sometimes no. Plenty of venues in Houston and Dallas have a no confetti rule because of cleanup, and a few charge a cleaning fee for it. We ask before your date, and if your venue says no we swap in no mess streamers, which get the same look with nothing left on the floor.

Good Questions

Confetti Falls questions couples ask

Is confetti allowed at wedding venues in Houston and Dallas?

It depends on the venue. Many Houston and Dallas venues have a no confetti rule because of cleanup, which is exactly why Weddings Unlimited offers no mess streamers that leave nothing to sweep up, along with eco friendly confetti for the rooms that do allow it. Tell us your venue and we will confirm which of the two you can have before anything is booked.

Is the confetti biodegradable?

Weddings Unlimited uses eco friendly confetti for confetti falls. If your venue has a specific requirement in writing, send it to us and we will match it or recommend no mess streamers instead.

How much does a wedding confetti drop cost?

Confetti falls are part of Magic Moments at Weddings Unlimited, which is $395 for special effects and lighting added to your wedding, and the price drops when it is bundled with photography, videography, DJ and MC, photo booth or coordination.

When should confetti drop during the reception?

Confetti needs a crowd underneath it, so the best moments are the wedding party entrance, the first time the dance floor fills, or the last song of the night. Your Weddings Unlimited DJ calls it from the booth so it lands on the beat.
