Lighting FXCut the room with beamsLaser party lights for wedding receptions in Texas and Arizona
Beams spreading across the dance floor once the crowd is on it. Best with a little haze or a CO2 hit, because that is when you can actually see them.
Part of Magic Moments at $395, and cheaper when it rides along with another service.

What lasers add that regular lights do not
Lasers produce thin, sharp beams that read as lines in the air rather than pools of light on the floor. That gives the room depth, which is why a club uses them and a hotel ballroom does not. They are a late night effect, and they are the one lighting choice that depends on something else being present: without a bit of haze or fog in the air there is nothing for the beams to catch.
How to use them properly
The last hour, over a full floor, with haze or a CO2 burst in the same moment. If your venue does not allow haze, lasers still work but they will read as dots on the walls rather than beams through the room, and we would rather you knew that before you pick them. In that case intelligent dance lighting is the better spend.
Will your venue allow it?
Lasers are the one lighting item some venues ask about, usually around aiming, because beams should never point into the crowd at eye level. We aim them above head height and across the room. Tell us your venue and we will confirm their rules before your date.
Laser Party Lights questions couples ask
Do laser lights work at a wedding reception?
They work best late at night over a full dance floor and with some haze or fog in the air for the beams to catch. Without haze the beams read as dots on the wall rather than lines through the room. At Weddings Unlimited laser party lights are part of Magic Moments at $395.
Are laser lights safe at a wedding?
Weddings Unlimited aims laser fixtures above head height and across the room rather than into the crowd at eye level. Some venues have their own rules about laser aiming, and we confirm those with the venue before your date.
How much do laser party lights cost?
Laser party lights are part of Magic Moments at Weddings Unlimited, which is $395 for special effects and lighting added to your wedding, and the price drops when it is bundled with photography, videography, DJ and MC, photo booth or coordination.
What if our venue does not allow haze?
Lasers still function, but they lose most of their effect because there is nothing in the air for the beams to catch. If haze is not allowed in your room, intelligent dance lighting is the better use of the same budget and we will tell you so.
