What uplighting actually does to a room
Uplights are small wireless fixtures placed on the floor against the walls, aimed upward. They wash the walls in your color, which replaces a beige or brick room with something that looks deliberate in every photograph. They run on battery, so there are no cables across your floor, and your DJ controls them from the same booth that runs your music. No second vendor, no second setup fee.

Around the perimeter of the reception, behind the head table, and washing whatever wall your photographer will use as a background. If your budget only stretches to a handful, put them behind the head table and on the wall your first dance faces. That is where the pictures happen.
Will your venue allow it?
Almost every venue allows uplighting, because there is no flame, no fog and nothing on the ceiling. Battery fixtures also mean no permission is needed to run power. The only real question is whether your venue has its own house lighting package, in which case we will tell you honestly whether ours adds anything.

Yes. The fixtures are color changing, so we match your palette, and we can also change the color between dinner and dancing if you want the room to feel different later in the night.
