Austin Wedding Photographer, Videographer & DJ at Austin Central Library
The Austin Central Library on West Cesar Chavez rents several distinct event spaces alongside its stacks. The Special Event Center holds up to 350 theater style behind floor to ceiling glass framing Lady Bird Lake. The Roof Garden, available Friday through Sunday evenings, opens onto a shaded deck planted with native Texas species and looks straight out at the skyline and the water, with an indoor living room as the weather backup. A second floor art gallery suits smaller receptions and a ground floor demonstration area seats eighty. Events wrap by eleven and event insurance is required, so the timeline matters here more than at most venues. The payoff is the roof at blue hour, which is one of the best fifteen minutes of light in downtown Austin.
