What sells it is the water: the ceremony runs on the lawn with the lake open behind the couple, the patio looks straight out over it, and sunset across Lake Livingston does most of the work for portraits. Inside, the clubhouse is a clean, bright room that takes string lighting and draping well. It is a community clubhouse rather than a full service wedding venue, so couples bring their own caterer and vendors, which keeps it affordable. We have photographed a wedding here and know exactly when the light peaks over the water and how much warm lighting and a dancing-on-a-cloud first dance add inside afterwards.
