Austin Wedding Photographer, Videographer & DJ at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center on La Crosse Avenue in south Austin is 284 acres of native Texas landscape wrapped in limestone architecture, and it is one of the most distinctly Austin places a couple can marry. Ceremonies and receptions use the stone arcaded Courtyard, the Great Hall with its floor to ceiling windows onto the gardens, the theme gardens and the Nectar Garden, with bluebonnets and wildflowers doing the decorating in spring. Capacity runs to about 150. We have photographed a wedding here and know which garden paths hold the best late light, how the limestone arcade frames a family portrait, and how much string lighting and a dancing-on-a-cloud first dance add in the courtyard after dark.
