Houston Wedding Photographer, Videographer & DJ at Hankamer Chapel at Second Baptist Church

The Hankamer Chapel sits on Second Baptist Church’s Woodway campus just inside the 610 Loop, and it is a traditional church wedding in the best sense: arched stained glass, white columns, a long center aisle and the kind of quiet that makes a ceremony feel like a ceremony. Weddings here go through the church wedding office, and the church asks that couples be members, complete pre marital counseling and attend a marriage prep workshop, so the calendar fills early. Because Woodway is minutes from the Galleria and Tanglewood, most couples pair the chapel with a hotel or ballroom reception nearby, which keeps the day moving. We have photographed and filmed ceremonies in this chapel and the rule that matters most is the one every church has: know the photo and video restrictions before you walk in, not during the processional.
