The Moss Ranch sits on Ranch Road 965 between Fredericksburg and Llano, on the road out to Enchanted Rock, and it is Hill Country in the way people picture it: live oaks, open pasture and prickly pear, with a ranch building and a long covered porch at the centre. The main event room seats 150 with a dance floor and a mini kitchen, there is a separate caterer kitchen across a breezeway, three bedrooms on site, a sound system with microphones for indoors and out, and linens and decor included. The weekend package sleeps 14. We have photographed a wedding here and know how the oaks filter the light through a ceremony, and how much our uplighting and a dancing-on-a-cloud first dance add in that room after dark.
