The Rosewood on Lake Placid sits on the water at McQueeney, between Seguin and New Braunfels in the San Antonio corridor. The chapel is the piece that sells it: a white timber pavilion with leaded glass windows, exposed trusses and wooden pews, open enough that the lake air moves through it during the ceremony. Beyond the chapel there is a covered porch with lounge seating, a barn hall strung with cafe lights, farmhouse tables and benches for up to 100, a greenery wall, lawn games and a boardwalk out over the water for portraits. It is run as a destination retreat rather than a single day rental, with five days and four nights of exclusive access and overnight accommodation for 17, so the wedding party is on site all weekend.
