Lavon Wedding Photographer, Videographer & DJ at The Venue at Boyd Farm
The Venue at Boyd Farm is forty acres of working North Texas farmland with three ponds, about thirty miles northeast of downtown Dallas near Lake Lavon. Ceremonies happen at a covered timber pavilion looking out over the water, and the main event center runs roughly 5,200 square feet indoors with a bar, a lounge and a wraparound patio, holding up to five hundred. Five furnished two bedroom cabins mean the wedding party can stay the night. The rental is a twelve hour block, noon to midnight, and that midnight end is the thing to build the timeline around, because the windmill and the oil rig on the property only photograph the way you want them to in the last forty minutes of daylight.
