The Venue at Devil's River Distillery sits on East Houston Street a block off the River Walk, and it is one of the most distinctive rooms in downtown San Antonio: a working distillery with expansive copper stills, whiskey barrels, exposed brick and Swarovski crystal chandeliers over all of it. Ceremonies run in the Tasting Room against the stills and the antique bar, the Promenade patio has copper framed windows and hundred year old marble floors, the Grand Mezzanine is the getting ready suite, and The Speakeasy downstairs takes the reception with wall sconces and a Prohibition feel. Capacity runs 50 to 250 and tables, chiavari chairs, linens and bar service are included. We have photographed a wedding here and know how copper and brick read on camera, and how much our uplighting and a dancing-on-a-cloud first dance add in a room like that.
