The Venues at San Fernando is run by San Fernando Cathedral itself, which means a couple can marry in the oldest standing church sanctuary in Texas and walk to their reception. San Fernando Hall on West Commerce carries high ceilings, expansive glass, a Mediterranean patio with a fountain and a lit courtyard garden, and holds up to 500; the Cathedral Centre Hall next to the cathedral takes 170. Rentals run seven hours with tables, banquet chairs, setup, teardown and an on site event manager included. Note that the cathedral requires a Catholic ceremony. We have photographed a wedding here and know how the cathedral interior and that limestone facade read on camera, and how much our uplighting and a dancing-on-a-cloud first dance add in the hall afterwards.
