Venue 116, previously known as Cotton Gin 116, occupies a restored cotton gin in Brookshire, about fifteen minutes west of Katy and just off Interstate 10. A recent renovation paired the building's industrial bones with a cleaner, more modern finish across roughly eleven thousand square feet, and the original gin structure now serves as a cocktail area with real character. Named spaces including the Champagne Suite, Whiskey Lounge, Gin Room, Seed Room, Bar Lounge and Buffet Room let the day move naturally from getting ready through dinner and dancing, while two outdoor courtyards and floor to ceiling windows bring in daylight and open air. It seats up to 200 and includes crossback or chiavari chairs, ceremony chairs, linens, a decor closet, a catering kitchen for outside caterers, an on site venue manager, and setup and cleanup.
